Description
Entry-level coordinator who learns warehouse operations, inventory data entry, and material handling by following established procedures and receiving on-the-job training. Works under direct supervision to support the materials team with clerical tasks, physical stock management, and production kitting.
Responsibilities
- Support the materials team by performing clerical and administrative tasks related to inventory control, data entry, and document management
- Input and update inventory data in ERP/MRP systems under the direction of senior coordinators
- Compile and maintain records of quantity, type, and value of electronic components and products stocked or received
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliations; count product in stock and post totals to inventory records
- Help identify and report discrepancies in inventory levels
- Prepare kits for production per bill of materials and work order documentation
- Assist with shipping and receiving operations including unloading, verifying packing slips, and putting away stock
- Pack and prepare outgoing shipments per shipping instructions and customer requirements
- Assist quality personnel with incoming material inspection tasks as directed
- File and organize material-related paperwork including packing slips, certificates of conformance, and shipping documents
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely
- Follow all safety protocols and ESD handling procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 6S principles
- Participate in on-the-job training and skill development activities
Requirements
- No prior warehouse or manufacturing experience required
- Open-minded and willing to learn warehouse operations and inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and basic mathematical skills
- Ability to read and follow written procedures and work instructions
- Basic computer skills for data entry tasks
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and a proactive approach to work
- Good teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for warehouse work
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse, logistics, or inventory experience
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems or inventory software
- Experience in electronics manufacturing
- Familiarity with 6S workplace organization principles
